With projects ranging from multi-million dollar commercial, to retroactive updating of a local family multi-generational home, all our projects are handled with the same professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.

About the President Tim Parsons, P.Eng.

The enviable reputation enjoyed by Interactive Living is due in no small part to the strong technical background and professional leadership of company owner/president Tim Parsons.

With an Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering and a penchant for innovation and “out of the box” thinking, Tim gravitated naturally to such companies as IBM, Nortel Networks, Alcatel and PMC-Sierra.

A resident of the North Shore, Tim holds a strong belief that each person should “give back” to the community and industry that fosters their success. This philosophy has led to his position on the Board of various local councils and committees, and to active membership of APEGBC, CEDIA and GVHBA. As father to 2 children, Tim also coaches kids baseball, is an avid curler, and has been know to hit the slopes at Whistler/Blackcomb on occasion.

Whether planning the design of a home technology integration project or making a difference in his community as a volunteer, Tim brings a consistent level of insight, integrity and professionalism to each endeavor—making him an excellent partner for any design or building professional.

About the Employees

Interactive Living employs only CEDIA certified installers, who also go through a rigorous internal training program. In addition, employee bonuses are in large part determined by client satisfaction.

Our corporate culture places strong emphasis on the synergy created when all employees are an integral part of the team. As a process-oriented company, we function as a cohesive, well-oiled machine; and by providing employee overlap between consecutive phases of the design-install process, we ensure that no detail is overlooked and nothing slips between the cracks.

As a further commitment to excellence in home technology system design and installation services, Interactive Living allocates a portion of each annual budget to ongoing training and education for all employees.
